Rabbitland (installation)
More stupid than Teletubbies, more absurd than Sponge Bob, happier than Barbie – Brainless Rabbits represent the most perfect stage of evolution so far. They can be identified by a hole in the head where the brain should be located, by the intense pink colour and frantic eyes. Their intelligence does not interfere with anything because its quotient is the lowest ever measured.
Rabbits are happy.
Brainless Rabbits live in Rabbitland – a cosy settlement arranged according to positive experience regarding the appearance and functionality of war zones, illegal building, natural disasters, unsanitary slums, anti-utopias and cartoons. Holes, walls, fences, partitions, barbed wire, bandages, dirt, pink outsides and small dark insides of their homes, endless queues, too low doors, too high nooses for hanging, glittering shine of worthless coins and all-covering wireless are ideal conditions for their life.
Rabbits are happy.
Everyday life of Brainless Rabbits is amply fulfilled. They spent the largest part of the day servicing their Facebook profiles and voting at elections that are held daily in Rabbitland. Any remaining free moment they spend in hitting their heads against the wall. Their tomorrow (if they survive) is the same as their yesterday.
Rabbits are happy.
Rabbits like being watched and that’s why they look at You that way. Their colour is of viral nature and it affects the observer changing him gradually into a pink creature similar to Brainless Rabbit.
