What is feminism? Or, more precisely, what does it really mean for you? Let’s skip definitions and start with your personal stories and feelings. Is it difficult for you to tell it? Let’s tell it through animation! It’s not easy, but it is very important to try. We believe that animation is a powerful tool to address important political issues.

Here is our ambitious working plan based on our usual working methodology:

Step 1: From personal to political. How to transform personal stories and experiences into the idea for an animated film about relevant social and political issues?

Step 2: There are many ways to present your ideas. What would happen if we try to play with Futurism, an art movement of great aesthetic, but questionable values? It’s time to re-discuss it, reuse it and update it, and it could help us to make our film. Generally, using references is a very important part of film development.

Step 3: Our revolutionary ideas have to be patiently transformed frame by frame into a very short animated film. We are going to use stop motion animation, mostly cut out, but we will also experiment with some interesting materials.

Step 4: Changing the world through short animated film…
